Currently I am majoring in Broadcast Communication and Public Relations at Mississippi State University. Along with my job at Starkville FUMC I also have many other side and freelance jobs. I work for the Mississippi State University Athletics Department as a streaming technician, in which I am in charge of streaming and archiving major athletic events. Also, I am an Associate Producer for WOBV5, which is owned and operated by Starkville FUMC, in which I help with the production and planning of new and current shows.

During the Summer of 2012 I will be working as an intern with ESPN in Bristol, CT. I am one of less than 100 individuals chosen nationwide to participate in this program.

I have freelanced with many different organizations including ESPN, CSS, UTC, VideoMagic 1, HGTV, and WoW Productions. I have both Studio and ENG camera experience, and familiar with all major camera brands. Including Sony, Panasonic, JVC, and etc.

I also have over 5 years of experience in Final Cut Studio and a working knowledge of Adobe After Effects. I am constantly learning and growing my knowledge of the newest production software.

I am one of less than 100 out of 15,000+ who was offered a position at ESPN this summer. I will be working in Production Operations in Bristol, CT.

I am excited about this opportunity and feel that it will give me a lot of experience in the broadcasting field. I will be traveling up to Bristol, CT later in May and will start my job at ESPN on June 4th.

I hope to update my website with information and insights into my internship. However, due to certain confidentiality reasons I will not be able to post certain things during my internship.
